Monokote MK6HY and Z146 have been applied in the UK and Europe since the early 90's. It is a fast setting fire resistant plaster for structural steelwork and concrete decking that can achieve up to 4 hours fire protection.

 

The added benefit over other products is its ability to be overcoated after 30 minutes and therefore reduces programme restrictions on sites. The product also offers an acoustic NRC rating of 0.85 at 25mm and can be overcoated to any RAL code.
